Work is God

I recently came across a baseball cap that has the letters "GOD" written on it. Immediately what I felt was not religion, but work. Work is God to me.
Many work places rely on teamwork, but what does that really mean coming from the body? In truth- teamwork is EVERYONE first doing well their own part (no imposition, no control) and a true team ONLY adores.
I have heard that businesses are run by an opposing energy-and it has become normal.
At work often judgement comes into looking at a result-that's good or bad, but how about the responsibility of not reacting, which is called respect and love? Love is love is love (no matter what) and if it is not the energy of a work place, or if said respect is only conditional, then it simply, is not.
Teamwork cannot be forced, and naturally some people are more amazing in certain aspects and others in other aspects, we have to feel into everyone and RESPECT that, because in teams everyone is equally important. If some people are great communicating one on one, then let that person explode in this. If others are great at grouping together and handling things together, then let them explode in it. Teamwork is knowing how every single person is and what they excel in and then utilising their strengths.
Leaders often feel that to lead people is to control and compress them. That has never felt true to my body. If there was any compression in my body, I know I will immediately feel anxious and require much more energy to do a job well, often mistakes happen as doubt comes in. Therefore, I have learned in working with staff and being with people, to give space and observe. When I led shoots for many years, I would home cook every meal for my staff. I would send them a menu before each job and if they wanted to have a home cooked lunch prepared, I would make it for them. If they prefer a cha chan teng lunch, I am equally happy to buy them one. Every morning of a shoot I would go to the kitchen at 6am and give my love to cook and that is what my team would receive -- even though I may not tell them I love them or hug them. And I don't need to.
What teams require is a leadership of taking RESPONSIBILITY, to not impose and to allow SPACE for people to truly come to their amazingness. This is the true responsibility and work for a leader, to give and hold space.
Work is where God in its realness appears. Imagine God being a control freak and pushing deadlines, getting upset and paranoid when things do not go as expected, cursing and worrying, hilarious you may say (and I have certainly been there), but that is what gives me a light-hearted chuckle. Can't imagine God ever being that, so simply give it nothing and return to the true Godness that we know in work - LIVE SPACE.
Giving and living space is NOT passive. It is not stepping back or holding back when you can push that idea or expression forward, imposition is NEVER true anyway. At the end of the day, what energy we put out, is what we will be greeted back with.
